KAIROS Performance

KAIROS was the first FIG Creation that, uniting the artistic singularities of the festival copartners, PIA Artistic Intervention Projects, ATA Theater Association Artimanha, BARDOADA Sarrafo Group and AJCOI Youth Association, marked in 2017, the closing of the 9th edition of FIG International Festival Of Giants, on Praça da Independência at Pinhal Novo.

A show inspired by the Vincentian Universe, that approached the today's society in this way of using the value resource of time. From the Greek καιρός, Kairos simbolizes "the right moment", "the opportune moment".

The Creation had the Artistic and Plastic Direction of Company PIA, that conducted during 3 months, a Cycle of Workshops of Plastic and Performative Component, with view for the creation of a Final Performance. Reaching the local cultural and educational community, the creation gathered also the participation of the local artistic groups Teatro Sem Dono, EnsaiArte Theater, Barris Theater and Os INdiferentes.

An incredible and challenging project that brought together a fantastic team, with more than 50 persons, that contributed with all their commitment, enthusiasm and affection, making KAIROS time possible and unique!
